  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 ounces (340g) bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (for pasta water)
  • 4 tablespoons (56g) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups (480ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg (optional, but recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Beef Season thinly sliced sirloin with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef in a single layer until golden brown, then flip and cook until just cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
  2. Step 2: Cook the Pasta Boil a pot of salted water and cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce Melt butter in a skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream and simmer until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with pepper and nutmeg.
  4. Step 4: Combine Everything Add drained pasta to sauce and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed. Fold in beef strips and juices, then heat through.
  5. Step 5: Serve Transfer to serving dish, garnish with parsley and Parmesan. Serve hot for best results.
