Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni/pasta of your choice
  • 3 cups water (see notes)
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2.5 cups sharp cheddar (freshly grated)
  • 2 cups mozzarella (freshly grated)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tbsp paprika (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1.5 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Grate the cheese and prepare all the ingredients.
  2. Step 2: To a pot, add the dried macaroni pasta and pour in water. Over medium high heat, bring the pot to a boil and once boiling, turn the heat down to medium low.
  3. Step 3: Cook the pasta per package instructions or until al dente then turn heat down to low. You want most of the water to evaporate but still a little bit left in the pot.
  4. Step 4: Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot and stir until well combined and all the cheese melts. Adjust to taste. Best served while hot and enjoy!
